TYLER LYNN POWERS TO VICTORY IN SUNNY SOCAL
The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WORCS Series made its return to one of off-road racing’s most iconic venues as competitors rolled into Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, for the final round before the summer hiatus. With Southern California temperatures sitting comfortably in the low 80s, riders were treated to nearly perfect conditions, setting the stage for a weekend packed with speed, strategy, and plenty of drama. Saturday featured the Open Pro, Vet Pro, and Women Pro divisions, while Sunday belonged to the premier Pro 450 and Pro 250 classes. Combined, the two headline classes spent over two hours on the racecourse, and Glen Helen made sure every minute counted. Adding to the challenge was a dedicated pro section that proved to be both a passing zone and a trap waiting to happen. Riders dropped off a small K-rail into a steep downhill before charging through a rough, dusty section behind the truck track. Multiple line choices near the end of the section allowed racers to attack or defend before launching back over the tires and K-rail to rejoin the main course. It rewarded aggression but punished mistakes, and there were no shortages of crashes throughout the afternoon. Fortunately, most riders remounted quickly and continued their charge, with several maintaining podium positions despite their mishaps.

The Open Pro class saw home-track favorite Dustyn Davis put his Glen Helen experience to good use. Davis steadily built his advantage throughout the seven-lap race, posting the fastest lap of the event with an 8:45.425 and taking the overall victory. Jake Alvarez kept the pressure on early and settled into second, while Colton Aeck rounded out the podium after working his way forward from fourth on the opening lap. In Vet Pro, off-road legend Ivan Ramirez made his first appearance in the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WORCS Series and immediately reminded everyone why his name carries so much respect. Ramirez controlled the race from the outset and turned the fastest lap with a 9:01.907 en route to victory. Series regular Travis Damon entered the weekend undefeated but had to settle for second after pushing Ramirez throughout the six-lap contest. Nick Stover completed the podium, while Hayden Florez brought home fourth.

The Women Pro division welcomed back Lauren Woods after spending recent weeks competing in the opening rounds of the WMX Championship in Pro Motocross. Woods wasted no time re-establishing herself, grabbing the holeshot and leading every lap on her GASGAS machine. Her pace proved untouchable as she cruised to victory. Maddy Weber held down second throughout the race and posted the fastest lap of the class with a 10:15.445. Brook Whipple completed the podium, with Rachel Burton finishing fourth.
Dustyn Davis carried his momentum from Saturday into Sunday and looked exceptional all afternoon. Racing at his home course, the Honda rider consistently maintained a blistering pace and recorded the fastest lap in class with an 8:55.029. Davis never relinquished the lead and secured another overall victory. Behind him, the battle for the remaining podium spots stayed close for much of the race. Cole Zeller briefly found himself near the front before disaster struck early. Entering the end of the pro section, Zeller clipped a K-rail and suffered a violent crash that sent him hard to the ground. Forced to regroup, the KTM rider put his head down and launched an impressive recovery ride to salvage second place. RPM Racing teammates Noah Gordon and Colton Aeck waged a race-long battle for the final podium position. Gordon’s consistency ultimately paid off as he edged Aeck by just over a minute at the checkered flag. Sam Pretscherer finished fifth after a steady ride, while Harlem Nelson completed the top six. Kayden Lynn was unable to continue after an early DNF

The Pro 450 class featured a thrilling duel between Mason Semmens and Tyler Lynn. Semmens grabbed the early advantage and spent the opening laps holding off both Lynn and Dare Demartile. But midway through the race, Lynn came alive. On lap four, Lynn laid down an incredible 8:46.156—the fastest lap of the entire day—and used that same lap to make the decisive pass for the lead. From there, the Honda rider managed the race brilliantly, though Semmens refused to go away. The pair stayed within striking distance of one another all the way to the finish, with only seven seconds separating them after more than two hours of racing. Semmens settled for second but showcased championship-winning speed throughout the day. Dare Demartile had the pace to challenge the front runners, but mistakes proved costly. The Lincoln, California rider tipped over three separate times around the course, including incidents within the technical pro section. Despite the setbacks, Demartile remounted each time and fought back to secure third place, preserving a podium finish.

Jake Alvarez brought his Kawasaki home in fourth after a consistent ride, while Hayden Florez rounded out the top five. As the checkered flag waved over Glen Helen Raceway, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WORCS Series closed the first half of the season in fitting fashion. One of the sport’s most storied venues once again delivered close racing, dramatic moments, and plenty of memorable performances. Now, with the summer break ahead, riders and teams will have time to regroup before returning to battle for championships in the second half of the season.
