FATHER AND SON TEAM PUT CAN-AM ON TOP AT E STREET MX

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC moved north to E Street MX in Marysville, California, for the third round of the 2024 season as they check out a brand new venue for the circuit. This track combines the properties of E Street and MMX. The track crew put together one of the more unique layouts for the racers, and it was a hit as it was smiles throughout for the new location. Sebastian Marquez put his Polaris RS1 on top of the box on Saturday, and it was Judge’s family reunion on the podium on Sunday, with Beau and Braden Judge having the 1-2 punch!

On Saturday, Marquez came out flying as he grabbed the holeshot, barely pulling ahead of Karsen Sandberg as they headed out onto the moto section. Unfortunately, Paxton Schendel and Sandberg had mechanical issues early on, causing them to DNF, but they will be back to battle in Blythe for the next round of WORCS racing. Cruz Worley got past them, allowing him to slide into second place, keeping pace with Marquez as the race progressed. Marquez kept the blistering pace intact as he secured the lead and brought home the checkered flag with his lead just under a minute and a half ahead of Worley. Breckin Miramon capitalized and put his RS1 on the box at his first WORCS race of the season.

For the final race of the weekend, it was the Pro Production class lining up as it was split into two lines with ten total racers on the starting line. Beau Judge shot off the line, pulling a holeshot early, and gave himself quite the advantage with a clean track as it was quite a tight race course with few opportunities to pass. Keeping himself in front of the race was only half the battle as his son Braden started on the second line, showing that he is no slouch as he was out front in his group and first overall as the race progressed. Beau Judge had his fastest lap of the race during lap 4 as he regained the overall lead and brought his CanAm Maverick X3 to another victory making him 3 for 3 on the season. Braden beat out Beau Baron in his Polaris ride for the second spot on the podium. Baron may have finished in 3rd, but this solidified him into second in points. Polaris drivers Jeremiah Wagner and Larry Heidler wrapped up the top 5 in Marysville.
