TYLER AND KAYDEN LYNN WIN BIG IN MESQUITE AS BATTLES BREW IN MESQUITE
The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WORCS Series returned to the brutal sands of Mesquite MX in Nevada, California, where riders faced one of the most demanding courses on the circuit. The track’s deep, choppy sand and infamous pro section—lined with logs, planks, and massive tires—tested both skill and endurance as racers fought to keep momentum through the ruts and heat.

In the Pro 450 Motorcycle class, the race opened with Dare Demartile of LiquiMoly Beta USA launching off the concrete start and grabbing the holeshot into the first corner. However, it didn’t take long for Tyler Lynn of SLR Honda to make his move. Known for his speed and composure in the rough, Lynn found his rhythm early and charged into the lead on lap one. From there, he never looked back. His pace was unmatched, setting the fastest lap of the day on lap 3 with a time of 9:39, and steadily pulling away from the field each time around the course.

Demartile held strong in second, delivering a smooth and consistent ride on his Beta machine to secure the runner-up spot. Meanwhile, Lynn’s teammate Carter Klein capitalized on others’ mistakes, moving up from fourth to third after Lyndon Snodgrass went down hard on the third lap and was forced to retire early, ending his day with a DNF. Klein kept it controlled to grab another solid podium for SLR Honda, continuing his strong season in the premier class. Behind the lead trio, a battle unfolded between Hayden Florez and Skyler Adams for the fourth and fifth positions. The two traded spots throughout the early laps, but Florez found an extra gear late in the race to edge out Adams for fourth, leaving the Eagle Mountain native to round out the top five.
In Pro 250, FMF RPM KTM Racing Team’s Mason Semmens delivered yet another dominant performance to clinch his second consecutive Pro 250 title. From the gate drop to the checkered flag, Semmens never faltered—his consistency was unmatched as he led every lap of the race and built more than a two-and-a-half-minute gap over teammate Noah Gordon. His best lap came early in the race, clocking in at 9:55 on lap 2, and he continued to stretch his advantage each time around the course. Gordon rode smart and steady to secure second, giving RPM KTM a 1–2 finish on the day.

Despite dealing with early misfortune, Tristun Alvarez still managed to earn a podium finish in third. Alvarez grabbed the holeshot but washed the front end in a corner on the opening lap and fought through mechanical issues for the remainder of the race. His persistence paid off with another top-three result. Notably, Alvarez also added a Pro 125 win on Saturday, proving his versatility and resilience across multiple classes.

The Pro-Am division produced some of the closest action of the weekend, with Racer Fry and Kayden Lynn putting on an impressive duel for the top spot. Fry grabbed the early lead, setting the pace through lap one, but Lynn wasted no time responding. On lap 2, Lynn recorded the fastest lap of the race—a 10:22—as he powered his Kawasaki into the lead. From there, he displayed the kind of composure that defines a true frontrunner, maintaining steady lap times through the closing stages to secure the overall win. Fry held strong in second, unable to close the gap but comfortably ahead of Gavin Dugan, who rounded out the podium. Dugan’s consistency stood out; he maintained third place from start to finish while chaos unfolded behind him. Meanwhile, Jaxzen Tully delivered one of the more notable charges of the day. After a rough start left him dead last on the opening lap, the Lake Havasu City rider clawed his way through the field to finish fourth—a gritty effort that showcased his endurance and determination. Matt Maple of Ramona, CA completed the top five.

In Women’s Pro, Isla Phillips of St. George, Utah came out on top, showcasing her pace and control in the punishing Mesquite conditions to take a commanding victory. The Mesquite round once again proved why it’s considered one of the toughest stops on the WORCS calendar. Between the relentless sand, deep ruts, and technical obstacles, the event pushed riders to their limits both physically and mentally. The front-runners in every class showed a blend of precision, endurance, and focus that set the tone heading into the series finale.

As the WORCS Series now turns toward the final round at 29 Palms, four championships remain on the line. With momentum on their side, riders like Tyler Lynn, Mason Semmens, and Kayden Lynn will look to close out the season strong, while others aim to finish on a high note after surviving one of the most demanding weekends of the year.
