This weekend’s WORCS action brought the heat with two stacked lineups in the Pro Production and Pro Stock classes. The fans at the track were treated to bar-to-bar battles, family rivalries, and some blazing fast lap times that kept the excitement high from the drop of the gate to the checkered flag.

The Pro Production class saw Rocklin’s Beau Judge waste no time proving why he’s one of the most consistent threats in the field. From the very first lap, Judge set the tone with a 7:31.313 opener before absolutely flying on Lap 2 with the fastest time of the race at 7:20.348. From there, it was smooth sailing as he kept a steady rhythm, never relinquishing the lead and crossing the line with a clean sweep of all six laps at the top. Right behind him, however, was a familiar last name—his son, Braden Judge. The Sacramento native had to claw his way through, starting nearly a minute down after Lap 1. Despite the gap, Braden put together some strong laps in the middle of the moto, including an 8:08.618 on Lap 5 and a near match to Beau’s pace on Lap 6 at 7:41.147. Though he couldn’t close the gap completely, Braden’s consistency earned him a well-deserved runner-up finish, making it a Judge family 1–2 sweep. Behind them, Paxton Schendel kept things steady on his Polaris, navigating through some tricky lap times. His fastest push came with an 8:02.867 in Lap 4, but ultimately he had to settle into third, still putting in a respectable ride against two of the toughest competitors in the field. Rounding out the class was Las Vegas racer Jeremiah Wagner, who started strong with a 7:32.633 opening lap and nearly matched Beau Judge’s hot pace in Lap 2 with a 7:23.469. Unfortunately, a grueling Lap 3 of over 14 minutes buried his chances at a podium run. Despite rallying back with some solid late-race laps, Wagner finished fourth overall.

If Pro Production was about the Judges, the Pro Stock class belonged to Paxton Schendel. Shaking off his third-place result earlier, Schendel came out swinging in this one. He opened with a quick 7:47.175, then dropped the hammer in Lap 2 with a blistering 7:40.606—the fastest lap of the race. From there, Schendel never looked back, controlling the race from start to finish and locking down the win. Hot on his heels was Karsen Sandberg, who kept Schendel honest in the opening laps. His early times were strong, including a 7:45.324 on Lap 2, but as the laps ticked away, small mistakes added up. Sandberg still managed to keep the gap reasonable, finishing runner-up just 18 seconds back by the final lap. Trevor Lee rounded out the podium in third. His pace wasn’t far off early on, but time lost in Laps 1–3 left him playing catch-up. Despite that, he closed with one of his best laps in Lap 6 at 7:43.827, showing there’s plenty of speed in the tank heading into the next round.
