BARON AND LEAVER CLINCH CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

The 2025 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WORCS Series wrapped up its final round at the Twentynine Palms Motorsports Complex, marking an exciting conclusion to another incredible season of off-road racing. This all-new venue had everything riders could ask for — a motocross section filled with deep ruts and massive jumps leading out into a fast, flowing eight-mile off-road loop. Sunday’s races featured an all-new Pro Section that proved to be one of the toughest of the year, challenging riders with steep ridge climbs, rocky descents, and uncut desert terrain. It quickly became the deciding factor in several championship battles, as lines, traction, and momentum could make or break an entire lap. The Pro ATV race kicked off with intensity as riders charged through the motocross section and into the desert portion of the course. Early on, Travis Damon looked unstoppable, dominating through the Pro Section and stretching out a big lead. Unfortunately, mechanical issues struck mid-race, forcing him to pull off to make quick repairs before remounting and charging back toward the finish. With Damon momentarily sidelined, Beau Baron capitalized. The multi-time champion maintained a flawless pace and avoided trouble through the rocky terrain, crossing the finish line first and locking in yet another WORCS Pro ATV Championship. Behind him, Logan Huff rode a strong and steady race to claim second, while Damon salvaged third after his setback. Layne Fryar and Cole Fryar rounded out the top five, both putting in consistent rides on the demanding course.

This eventually helped him: after leading for most of the race, a mechanical failure forced him to the back of the pack, where he finished in 6th place.  It was Eduardo Rojas who took the win for the round, putting in a near-flawless ride and setting a fast pace throughout the day. Behind him, Aaron Smith and Kenneth Pellmann rounded out the podium, while Todd Ellsworth and James Sanders completed the top five.
