October 11, 2022 – MESQUITE, NV – Round Nine of the WORCS series headed to Mesquite MX Park in Nevada for the second to last round of the 2022 season.  DirtHalo Racing’s Dakota Hibler went into this round with the overall points lead in the ATV Women’s A class and sitting in fourth overall in the ATV 15-29B Men’s Class.

Saturday’s race was the Women’s A race, after a Friday of issues with one of the team’s quads, Hibler lined up ready to battle in the warm and dusty conditions to extend her points lead.  For the second straight season at Mesquite, Hibler grabbed the hole shot and led wire to wire for her third consecutive win in the class, sixth overall and with one round remaining, inched closer to the class championship.

Sunday would be the ATV 15-29B class and with a season podium position out of reach, Hibler would look to reach the event podium for the first time this season.  With an average start Hibler would quickly find herself in the back of the field heading up the famed hill and out to the desert.  After a third lap mishap, Hibler would injure her right hip and just rode to collect points finish sixth in class and hold fourth overall in class heading into the final round next month at Primm.

Overall, a good weekend and lots to look forward to for the final round in Primm, NV to conclude the 2022 season.
