Use the instructions below to have alerts/notifications sent to your mobile device or email account at no charge to you (Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile device plan, please consult your mobile carrier if you have any questions about SMS message rates).

To use the system, you text codes from your mobile device or send an email from your computer.   Instead of texting to a phone number as you normally would, you text to the email address: worcs@mxtext.com – or use your computer to email our responder address if you would like to receive notifications on your computer.

WORCS SMS LIVE TEXTING ALERT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start a text message (or an email if you’d prefer email alerts) to: worcs@mxtext.com
   (iMessage and android messenger will let you put in emails instead of phone numbers)
2. In the body of the text message, type the word “sub” and a racing number you’d like to subscribe to. – i.e.:  sub 199
3. The system will respond back with a subscription code to verify.   Just reply to the message with the subscription code. The subscription code will be 3 characters and something like below. – i.e.  s94
4. At that point, the system will look for racers with that number in the system.  If it doesn’t find one, it will wait until one crosses the finish line.   When he/she does, your subscription will lock on to them for the day and you’ll be notified with info about them each time they cross the line.You may also, at any time type any racing number on the track and the system will respond back with a onetime text message with info about that racer.To unsubscribe, reply to the message and type unsub. – i.e. unsubYour subscription will expire on its own at the end of the day. Each day you must re-subscribe to continue getting alerts.You may subscribe to as many racers as you like.

   NOTE: Does not always work with T-Mobile. Only respond or send to the worcs@mxtext.com with the T-Mobile Network not their temporary number. May not work with all cellular network providers.
