Do you have a passion for the outdoors? Working hard and the satisfaction of plopping into bed exhausted after a hard day of work? WORCS Racing, the largest and most successful off-road racing series in the Western United States, is looking for Race Track Builders and Weekend Track Workers.

Position 1 β Race Track Builder:
About the Job:
This is a very fast-paced, deadline-oriented position that requires motivation, a strong work ethic, common sense, a good attitude, and a love of off-road racing and outdoors.
Be willing to travel and attend all race rounds in the Western United States. Available race weeks from Monday of event until Tuesday post event setting up, building and prepping off-race courses including but not limited to track marking and layout, pit set-up, public event areas, vendor control, etc.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation would be beneficial including but not limited to water truck operation, dozers, tractors, etc. Willing to train. Must be 18+. Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Job is physically demanding but highly rewarding, long days are the norm on race weekends but so much fun! Ability to provide own lodging accommodations a plus. (RV, Camper, truck, etc)
Knowledge of racing or track prep and building beneficial but not required. Will train the right person.
Applicant Must:
- Be willing to travel and attend all WORCS rounds or Podium Promotionsβ events.
- Communicate well in person and over the two-way radio.
- Present friendly and courteous relationships with our racers, spectators and sponsors is vital. The ability to connect and work with all age groups, from youth to vet racers. From amateurs to Pros.
- Be able to lift heavy items. 50+ more pounds from supply boxes, equipment to motorcycles off the ground or roll a SXS/UTV over.
- Be comfortable driving/riding a utility quad for track support and maintenance.
- Must have basic mechanical knowledge and be able to use construction tools including but not limited to hammers, staple guns, stake drivers, etc and even change a tire.
- Have an interest for sports or outdoors is vital. Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, Quads, SXS/UTVs and off-road racing in general is a bonus. This is not a 9-5 job. Because Podium Promotions/WORCS maintains Nationally recognized events (our racers make a living racing with us) our employees must be passionate enough to be a team player and get the job done whenever necessary. If you want a 9-5 job do not apply, this isnβt the job for you.
- Be proficient and willing to learn whenever you can!
- Be cool and fun. Seriously, this can be a tough job at times but itβs pretty damn amazing. We work extremely hard but we absolutely love and are proud to be a part of. A good work ethic is mandatory.
- Be reliable. You MUST come through, whether simply showing up for work on time or getting the project done successfully from beginning to end.
Requirements:
- Live preferably in Arizona (Lake Havasu) or Nevada (Las Vegas). Will consider California and Utah as well
- Valid driverβs license
- High school diploma
- Physically able to perform the described tasks
- Detailed and Team Oriented
- Articulate
- Willing to learn
- Common Sense
Additional responsibilities and requirements consist of, but not limited to:
- Driving and maintaining large motorhomes, stacker trailers, hauling trailers and equipment
- Keeping the motorhome and surrounding work areas clean
- Keeping the spectator and vendor areas clean
- Off-road and/or race enthusiast is a plus
- Class A CDL is a plus
- Knowledge of off-road motorcycling is strongly preferred
- Other duties assigned
Position 2 – Weekend Track Workers:
About the Job
Help make the race weekend GO!! These are very fast-paced position that require common sense, detail oriented and most of all a good attitude! A love of off-road racing and outdoors and working in all weather conditions is a must!
Must be able to work race weekends and be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Throw the green flag on the start line or the checkered on the finish line for racers! Willing to learn Start Line and Finish Line procedures, protocols and best practices. Track maintenance, racer support and other duties assigned are required. Ideally this person would not be racing so they can be there to work the entire weekend but can accommodate a racer to get out and race if need be.
