FEBRUARY 15TH, 2022 β DEVORE, CA – 8 year old Emmy Engle from Santee CA came into round 2 at Glen Helen raceway with one goal …. to “hat trick” by getting a podium in all 3 classes she was racing for the weekend. Emmy was on a hot streak after winning the opening round in Primm NV winning on her DRR backed DRR50. She knew the hard part would be getting on the box in her RZR170. This is her first season in the RZR170 and was leading at the last round before a failure ended her day.

Emmy started off in the 250 Limited stock race #1. She shot out to a very good start but got stuck in the back area putting her in last. Emmy battled back lap after lap to a solid 3rd place finish and the start to her dream!
Next was race #2, YES BACK TO BACK for the 50cc 7- 8 class. Emmy quickly changed from her race car gear into her quad gear. Then when the green flag dropped her DRR backed 50 ripped into the 1st corned 2nd and by the time she came around on lap 1 she was in the lead. She stretched her lead out and rode smart through traffic to the #1 spot on the podium, 1st 50cc quad and 8th overall in the field and now just 1 step away from achieving her challenge.
Finally Sunday it was game time and just 35 minuets away from making her goal a reality. The green flag dropped and Emmys DRR backed DRR 50 was off. Again great start and by the end of lap 1 Emmy had a nice lead. Emmy clicked off consistent laps, rode smart and at the end of the moto she was on the top spot #1 50cc 7-8 open ……. making her goal become a reality.

It was a amazing race weekend to see Emmy Engle Podium in 3 classes. Watching her dedication and drive between round 1 race, changing from race car gear into quad gear was a sight to see. On the podium Emmy thanked all of the people that supported her from her sister to her dad and:
