SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 – CEDAR CITY, UT – The Second half of the season for WORCS ATV kicked off this past weekend at the Three Peaks Oasis Park.  The venue was a new place for racing and what a great place to celebrate the Labor Day Weekend.  DirtHalo Racing’s Dakota Hibler was looking to start the second half of the season with a statement and was able to do just that.

Entering Saturdays Women B contest she was trailing overall points leader Jordan Murray by just two points.  As the rest of the field lined up and they took off into the first corner, Heidi Coleman #26 took the hole shot with Hibler right behind and Murray and Garcia on the heels.  An early race crash for Murray ended her day with an injury and the ladies battled the rest of the way.  Coleman held the lead for the first lap, but Hibler was able to take over in lap two and hold on for the victory a mere three seconds ahead of the field.  It marked the second win this season for Hibler in Women B out of the three races she’s competed on the season in class.  Hibler now holds the points lead heading into the double round of Glen Helen next month.

On Sunday Hibler lined up in another crowded field for Production C and points were up for grabs in this one.  Hibler got a terrible start being bounced around on the start, but was able to regain control and start moving up the field.  As the race finished lap one, Hibler was running in sixth, but by lap two she was able to take over third were she would run until the final lap and was able to pass class leader Tyler Morgan(mechanical) to take second on the day.  It was a great weekend to start the second half and now we head to Glen Helen for rounds seven and eight.
