MARCH 23, 2021 – LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ – WORCS Rd 3 – Our weekend started out on Friday afternoon with the Unclassified practice where we learned the track and got the car all dialed in after some changes we made since the last round. With practice over, it was time to prep the car and get ready to race the next day.

We started on row one and when the green flag dropped we took off. Unfortunately we had some electrical issues causing us to have no four wheel drive for the entire race. Due to that, we had a horrible start to the race with me flipping in turn four then hitting a hole causing me to flip where I lost about 1-2 minutes.

Thankfully we were able to keep going, but we still had no four wheel drive. I was chugging along making up time on the leaders until I got stuck in large pile up by the lagoon jump where I had no choice but to lose another 2-3 minutes there until someone came to help clear the track.

After that incident, we went on to set some of the fastest laps of the race, even while in two wheel drive and bring home a solid finish in eighth. Pretty pumped on being able to make the best out of a really bad position and coming from dead last up into the top ten to get some valuable points. Even despite our eighth place finish, we are leaving Rd3 with the points lead!

Thank you to everyone who helps me out and a huge thanks to Mike and Zabrina Emerson for coming out to support and spot for me.
