The 2020 Eliminator Pest Control Pro-am ATV Hole shot Championship

2020 Eliminator Holeshot Champion
2020 ELIMINATOR PEST CONTROL ATV PRO-AM HOLESHOT CHAMPION!
CONGRATULATIONS TO KENNY SANFORD

A WORD FROM RICK ELLSWORTH AND ELIMINATOR PEST CONTROL – Ok I am officially excited for the first ever; “2020” WORCS Racing ProAm Holeshot Championship Awards presented by Eliminator Racing & Eliminator Pest Control, Inc. You know holeshots are very exciting for the racers. But I have witnessed another level of excitement from the ProAm racers and this last round at Primm, Nv. was proof of that. I am so honored that Randy Perry gave the me the “green flag” to do this for the ProAm riders. Racing in general, but especially WORCS Racing, has been so good to me and my family this past 15 years. I really wanted to pass that on to the up and coming Amateur Racers in some way. I want to see our sport reach all new heights in the coming years. Ok, let’s go racing!!! Thanks Again, Rick Ellsworth

Eliminator Pest Control has announced for 2020, the ATV Pro-am Holeshot Championship. Racers will have the opportunity to win cash! Each round will be tallied as follows:

6 points for HOLESHOT
5 points for 2nd
4 points for 3rd
3 points for 4th
2 points for 5th
1 point for 6th through last

Tie-breaker will be based on current series point standings.

This is now part of the the per round $50 cash prize Holseshot winner presented by Eliminator Pest Control.

Primm Report – Wow what a turn of events Primm was. Mesquite was the closest holeshot to date with about 2-3 inches between first and second. Primm now has that record. I had to call a tie between Brian Jackson & Kenny Sanford. I must have reviewed the video 100 times. The frame before the line it was Brian and Kenny was coming. And at the line I just couldn’t see a clear winner. So they both will share the holeshot, $50 each and both receive 6 points towards the championship. I was super bummed for Cody Sanford as he had a medical issue and was unable to come to Primm. Jared had another good start which moved him into a solid contender and good to see Dylan Sloan up there.

So it all comes down to Lake Havasu City. Four riders have a shot at the “Eliminator ProAm Holeshot” championship. The Sanford brothers, Jared Middlebrooks, and Brian Jackson. First three are separated by one point each. Also there is a chance for a tie.

The points in the WORCS ProAm championship will break that tie if it happens. Can’t wait!!!!!! See ya’ll there

Blythe Report – was probably our longest holeshot this year. But WORCS through in a curve ball with a dead engine start. I really thought Kenny Jr. had a shot at it but he was caught sleeping on the line. lol. And Brian Jackson had some issues landing him in last place off the line. So I was a bit surprised as Jared Middlebrooks came flying by in first place. Funny thing is, I was giving him crap about his starts. I guess that motivated him. Cody Sanford was able to stretch out him lead with a second place. followed by Gordon Tarnow & Noah Harris.

Glen Helen Report – Yeah we are back to racing. And the holeshot for the ProAm race at Glen Helen didn’t disappoint!! Cody Sanford was definitely awake when the gate dropped, lol. That is two holeshots in a row. I was told that Brian Jackson had an issue with the gate. And for being the old man in the group, Jared Middlebrooks was able to move up to 3rd place in the standings.

It sure was great to see Alex Ortez back at the track. This kid took up, right where he left off…..very fast!! lol. He was right behind Cody on the holeshot, which gave him 5 points right off the start. Sure hope we get to see more of him.

Well we’ll see you in Blythe for the next race. I have raced this track a few times. You guys and gals, are gonna love it. See ya there…

Mesquite Report – Well, WORCS Racing and Eliminator ProAm Hole Shot fans, it’s finally here. The Round 4 Mesquite Hole Shot report.  Sorry for the delay on this, but I got hurt at this round. It was hard to even function for daily activities such as BREATHING!!   LOL.  I broke at least 4 ribs, crushed one, separated collar bone, broke a piece off of the scapula and who knows what else!?  So I’m kinda glad for the break in racing.

Anyway,  Wow we have a new hole shot leader.  The Sanford boys came to the top of the list, with Cody edging out his brother by one point.  Cody got the hole shot with Kenny right beside him. This was the closest hole shot of the year. As near as I could tell, it was probably only by 3-4 inches.  And the old man Jared Middlebrooks heading up the second pack for 3rd.
Bad break or should I say “brake” for the kid Brian Jackson. He was hurt on a pit bike before the race and wasn’t able to start.

Stay safe out the everyone. See you soon.

Havasu Report – Havasu’s hole shot was very exciting to watch for the Pro-Am’ers. The Eliminator Race Team had three photo angles for this one and it took many slow-mo’s and rewinds to finally get the top 5.  And it’s really funny, I was giving Kenny Sanford Jr. a bunch of crap about his lack of performance “lol”.  And he finally pulled the hole shot here.  It was close.  He almost looped it after the corner and “The Kid” Brian Jackson almost got him.   Ya you heard it right,  I am officially giving Brian Jackson the Nickname….”The Kid”. Oh and by the way,  we have a new points leader…
1:   “The Kid”2:   Dylan Sloan3:   Kenny Sanford4:   Cody Sanford5:   Tavion Graham
6 & 7 are tied Erin Simmons and Jared Middlebrooks.  I guess age most be playing a part in this.  Reaction times slow down as we get older.   LOL..  Maybe for them, I personally got Two hole shots on that weekend.   @64strong.
Well I can’t wait for the Mesquite round.  So dust off the cobwebs and let’s get back at it.
