Glen Helen Raceway – Devore, CA (9/15/2019) – Round 6 @glenhelenraceway sport 15-29C race report… I felt good about the race especially with a fully rebuilt quad. I was about 3rd off the line, and first turn I was 6th. I knew it was gonna be a long and hot race. I pushed to make up time, but I couldn’t get around 5th. I finally got around him and started putting pressure on 4th half way through. But I started feeling sick, dizzy, and just not feeling right. I took it easy the last couple laps. After the race I immediately went back to camp and instantly got sick, and feeling like I was gonna pass out. It sucked to go from getting at least top 2 every race down to 6th.

Going into this race I was about 13 points ahead of @david__bdd . Now I am sitting 1st in points by 4. 2 races left of the 2019 season. We know what we gotta work on and what we are gonna do to improve. Congrats to @langster_racing on the win, You were flying! And congrats to @david__bdd for pulling off a solid 2nd! Thank you to everyone that pushed me on Saturday. That was making sure I was alright. I promise we’ll be back to the top πŸ₯‡ at round 7 in Taft!

Round 6 @glenhelenraceway production C race report… I felt even better heading into this race then Saturday’s race. I knew I just had to get a good start and pace myself. I was I think 3rd off the line and then moved into 2nd behind @laynefryar. I was on her tail for the first two laps and following her lines. Towards the middle of lap 2 I passed her and then @david__bdd had slid out and so I slid into him letting her pass me again. And then end of lap 2 I finally passed her back and started putting a good lead on her that was around I think 19 seconds on the 4th lap. Until beginning of 5th lap I entered the wash and the quad just died didn’t cut out or anything. @layne and @david__bdd both got around me. It finally started on like the 15th kick.

By far the worst feeling ever, finally being able to lead that class for the first time this year and have the quad just die. After I got it started It smelt like it was burning but couldn’t tell what it was. I started to catch back up but not knowing what was going on with it I didn’t want to risk blowing the motor up or anything. I got to the finish line and the oil was coming out the side of the motor and coolant was everywhere. And the temp gauge on the radiator said it was 250 degrees. It was a super fun race battling back and forth with layne finally not having anyone holding us back. I can’t thank everyone enough for pushing me, and cheering me on this weekend. It was definitely an up and down weekend.

The quad felt strong all weekend besides over heating Sunday. 2 races left of my rookie year. And I’m sitting in 1st by 4 points and 2nd. Have some work to do the last couple racesπŸ”₯πŸπŸ‘ŠπŸ˜ˆ
