WORCS Round 4 Pro ATV Race Report

Surprise, AZ – The WORCS Racing Series made its return to Arizona for Round 4 of the 2102 season, and the ATV racers were treated to abnormally cool temperatures for most of the weekend, but the sun came out for Sunday Pro ATV main event, which made for great conditions for spectators and racers as an intense battle was waged for the win with multiple leaders.
Maxxis / H&M Motorsportβs #549 Beau Baron got off to a mid-pack start, but he quickly charged his way into a battle for the lead with teammate David Haagsma and Can-Amβs Josh Frederick. Baron made the pass on Frederick in the off-road section, which allowed him to pull in behind Haagsma. Within a few laps, Baron would make the pass on Haagsma and secure the lead for his second win of the season, which now has both Baron and Frederick each with two pro wins, but Frederick remains in the points lead by a slim margin of 4 points over Baron
Motoworkβs #2 josh Frederick took over the lead briefly in the race when Haagsma & Baron pitted for fuel, but on the following lap, Frederick lost the lead with Baron making the pass in the pits. Frederick would hold down the second spot to the checkered flag followed closely by Haagsma.
