Webster Continues to Dominate WORCS Pro-AM

Collins Webster has been on the podium for every round of the 2011 WORCS Pro-AM season so far. In fact, he has either been on the top of the podium or just one step down in second. At WORCS round 3 in Havasu Arizona, Webster put himself at the top of the box one again to earn his second victory of the young season.
Websterβs win did not come easily as he had to fight his way to the front early on and then hold off charges from Javier Robles and Cody Mitchell on the fun, but brutally tough Havasu course of rolling sand whoops.Β In the end, Webster posted the fastest Pro-Am lap of the day with a 6:45.362 aboard his Can-Am and finished almost 30 seconds in front of Robles in second place with Mitchell scoring third place honors.
Keith Johnson finished fourth with Zachary Grodski fifth, Bryce Peart sixth, Chase Thomas seventh, Kyle McDaniel eighth, Barry Bennett ninth and Daniel Grodski rounding out the top ten.
βThis was a fun race,β said Webster on the podium. βI felt good all day and just kept a strong pace and got the win. This is a tough course, but itβs always fun to win.β
With three rounds finished Webster holds the Championship points lead with 72/2 wins. Mitch is second in the chase with 62 and Robles is third with 61/1 win.
